Dr. Joseph Sie received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1993.
He attended optometry school at the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Optometry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1997.

When did you know that you wanted to be an optometrist
In college I decided to pursue as a career as an optometrist due my experience with being nearsighted and to a desire to help others achieve their best vision.

Helping people to have great vision and eye health
Fun fact
I am a Charlotte native (yes, we actually exist.) I am married to Dr. Mandy Sie, who practices optometry in the Charlotte area. We have three children, and we reside in south Charlotte. Outside of work, you will often find me swinging a golf club or spending time with my family.
