Dr. Lauren Rigsby, O.D.
Originally from the Upstate, she returned to the area to practice optometry and joined Triangle Visions in 2018.
She specializes in primary eye care, ocular disease, and fitting of contact lenses.
Dr. Lauren Rigsby received her Bachelor Of Arts degree with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology from Clemson University. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry after completing internships with the Naval Support Activity Mid-South, TN, and a private practice in Charleston, SC.

Favorite part of being an optometrist
There are so many great things about being an optometrist! However, what I love most is the patient relations you can build in this type of field. I love seeing the same bright faces walk through our doors every year and the fact that I can really get to know my patients and their families over time.
Favorite vacation
My husband and I love to travel, but I have to say of all of the locations we have been to, Cabos San Lucas has to be my favorite memory. Warm beach, clear blue water, and some top-notch spas... it just doesn't get any more relaxing than that! Honorable mentions include Tuscany, Mont Blanc, and Paris.
Favorite concert you’ve been to
Ben Rector puts on an amazing show with a small intimate feel. His concert was by far one of my favorite memories of grad school.
Do you have any pets?
We have two dogs who are the loves of our lives. Scout is a headstrong GSP and Lilly is the goofiest Brittany in the world. Both are equally at home hunting in the fields and snuggling under the covers. They are the absolute best!
Fun fact
When I am not at work, I love being outdoors running, enjoying the Keowee, cheering on the Tigers, or attending NewSpring Church.
Additional fun fact: I've known my husband since Elementary school - that really puts a whole new meaning on "high school sweetheart"!
